My mother left me behind in East Africa when I was 2 to create a better life for our family. As I grew up awash in that loneliness I was comforted by the images and ideals I saw in fashion. I would design clothes out of my bedsheets at the catholic boarding school I attended in Africa.
Today as a single mother of an autistic child I find that the nurturer in me cannot help but find relief and comfort in designing and picking classy yet stylish designs for women of all sizes, but especially my plus size friends that flatter their fuller figures.
I’m passionate about fitness, so I also enjoy the fitness wear fashions.
My mother eventually succeeded in getting me here to the US when I was 15 and I’m still inspired and comforted by fashion!
” I sincerely hope my styles and designs can serve as a comfort and inspiration for other young girls who are dealing with the challenges of life whatever they may be! “
